What does your ideal classroom look like?
My ideal school would consist of innovative, enthusiastic connected educators who value learning with and from their students in an atmosphere that encourages risk-taking, cooperation, and the philosophy that play is a powerful teacher. Students would spend their day in an environment where their individual talents are nurtured and their creativity is supported not only by the individuals in the school but by the technology and physical space, as well. This school would focus on caring, communication, collaboration, and creation through project based and inquiry based learning experiences that allow students to ask and questions that address authentic, real-world problems and develop the skills to find solutions to these problems. My ideal school would help students to discover their passion and develop the desire to make the world a better place.
