How are you involved in education?
I am in my fourth year as superintendent of East Noble School Corporation. ENSC is rural school district in northeast Indiana and has an PK-12 enrollment of approximately 3800. We are completing our third year as a PK-12 1:1 school district.
What's your ideal school or classroom like?
For our community, an ideal school/district would be one where student's have a voice and drive their own learning in a creative environment where discovery and risk taking are embraced.
With the resources available to students and teachers today, I would like to see the structure of required "seat time" and "one size fits all" testing replaced with a learning environment that motivates and inspires students and teacher alike. This may take place outside of the walls of a tradition school.
